Soccer

This morning I had my second soccer game and I blocked the ball from the other team scoring. This picture is of me throwing the ball into my teammates. My team did better than last time, but we still lost. It doesn't matter - I still had fun!

Big Iowa Football Game

It was so exciting! Dad and I rode the Hawkeye Express to the game.
We sat on the top level. It was fun to look out the window as we went so fast!
When we got to the stadium I went to the KidZone. There was lots of fun things for kids to do.
I did the long jump...
the vertical jump...
and the 10 yard dash!
Here I am outside of Kinnick Stadium - I just can't wait to go inside!
But, first we had to go tailgating with my dad's uncle and some other people.
We had fun playing catch
But, then it started to rain. Good thing Grandma Lou had a poncho for me to use. It started raining so hard!
Even though it rained I had a great time at the game with my dad!

Ready for Iowa!

I was all ready to go to Iowa to watch the Big Iowa Football Game! I was going to wear an Iowa shirt every day I was there!
Tiger and I played my DS in the car.
I even got to help Dad wash the window when we stopped to get gas!
I was so excited to see my Grandmas & Grandpas and watch the Big Iowa Football Game. I couldn't even sleep.

Day in Dubuque

Grandma Lou took us to Dubuque to the Iowa River Museum. There was a lot of stuff to do and see. I learned all about rivers and water.
Dad and I rode bikes to make it rain.
Grandma and I saw what it was like to be in a beaver's house.
I played at the water table to learn how levys and work and how boats go down rivers.

We saw the biggest steamboat wheel!
Grandma and I learned how to go noodling. We put our hand in a fish's mouth and could pull it out of the rocks. Thank goodness the fish wasn't real!

I got to pet a crawfish, too!
Dad and I got to see the inside of Luis & Clark's boat.
I also saw what the inside of Mark Twain's Cave looked like. It was a little scary because it was so dark in there.
I also practiced walking on logs that were floating down the Mississippi River!
When we were in the car we drove past these really tall people! Their suitcase was bigger than me!
Next, we went on a cable car that went up a big hill. It was really old and my mom was scared it was going to break while we were on it.
When we got to the top of the hill we could see very far! We even saw 3 different states!
Here's Grandma and I getting ready to go back down the mountain.
We had a lot of fun in Dubuque. Thanks for taking us, Grandma!

Fun with my Cousins

We went to Iowa for a vacation. I was so excited to see my family again! While we were there my dad went into a thing where a lot of wind was blowing. It was so funny!
I got to play with my cousin Tate! We played Bonk the Ball on Your Face. We rolled the ball up the stairs and let it bonk us in face! It was so fun!
I even met my new baby cousin, Greyson. I can't wait until he gets older and I can play with him too.

I had my last t-ball game. After the game my coach gave us all a trophy because we did such a good job!
I'm so excited to have my very first trophy. I can't wait to put it in my room!

Ft Worth Zoo

We went to the zoo while we were in Texas. There was a HUGE lizard when we got to the zoo that was all ready for the 4th of July.
I found out my wing span is the same size as a Bald Eagle!
Then, I looked through glasses so that I could see how an eagle sees. They can see things far away!
I put a penny in a machine and it flattened it out to make a cool zoo penny!
We were soooooo hot! We wanted to go swimming like the rhinos...
The zoo had a whole bunch of dinosaurs hidden in the zoo. It was awesome! They moved and made sounds just like real dinosaurs. My favorite was the T-Rex!
Maybe sometime my Grandpa Carl can go to the Ft. Worth zoo with me. We both love zoos!

Happy 4th of July!

While we were in Texas we went to the fireworks with my cousins Cason and Bryce. They had lots of games and things for kids to do. Cason and I couldn't wait to find something fun to do!
While we were there I saw Uncle Same...the other Uncle Sam. He was so tall!
Bryce and I colored our own sunglasses.
Then, it was time to sit on our blanket and get ready to watch the fireworks. I took my new DS and taught Bryce how to play. He did really good and got some outs!
We also had some glow sticks. We all made necklaces and bracelets.
I was so excited to see the fireworks! I loved all the colors and I can't wait to watch fireworks again.

YEE HAW!

When we got to Texas we rented a car. The only thing they had was this HUGE car. It was fun to ride in. I sat all the way in the back. I felt like I was riding in a bus!
When we got our car we went to the Stockyards in Forth Worth. This is where all the cowboys are. Me and my dad tried on some big cowboy hats.
I got to sit on a Texas Longhorn. It was so big!
We saw an old time jail. This is what they used to have back in the olden days.
Dad and I went through a maze. We got a timecard and had to get the time stamped on it when we started the maze. Then, we had to find four letters in the maze. Once we found the M-A-Z-E we had to find our way out and stamp our time on the card to see how fast we went.
We got lost in the maze...A LOT!
Here we are punching our card after we found a letter.
We FINALLY made it out of the maze! It took me and Dad 25 minutes to find all the letters and the way out.
We even got to see a cattle drive. That is where they take a whole bunch of longhorns and they walk down the street. You have to be very careful that you don't get poked by their horns.
I got to meet a cowboy. After I talked with him we saw him and his friends have a gunfight.
The sheriff and the deputy were talking and then some bad guys came.
Then, the had a gunfight. I wasn't scared...it was just pretend.
I was so tired on the way back to our hotel.
We had a lot of fun at the stockyards.
