First Time Trick-or-Treating

I went trick-or-treating for the first time! I went to my best buddies house, David and Patrick. David was a punk rocker and Patrick was Harry Potter and I was Superman.
Here we are going to our first house. I'm so excited!
Patrick and I can't wait to get some candy.
Here I am saying "Trick-or-Treat for the first time.
We kept walking and walking and walking. There were other kids in the neighborhood who started walking with us too.
Finally we were all tired and we went back to David and Patrick's house. My mommy and I looked at all they yummy candy I got. I got so much my Boo Bucket was full!
See all of my yummy candy!
We played a game with David and Patrick and their mom and dad. It was a lot of fun! I was so tired when I got home.

Superman Here to Save the Day!

Today I had to go to the park and help Save the Day! My first rescue of the day was a little kitty that was stuck at the top of the slide. I made it to the top of the slide and then helped the kitty down.
I took a little break from saving animals and did a little swinging.
I had to go get my next mission. A puppy couldn't make it up a ladder.

I had to get there quick.
I kept flying and flying and my cape got tired. So, I had to drive a little.
I made it to the ladder. I helped the puppy get to the top.
I looked out and made sure everything was okay.
Then, I heard a poor little chinchilla. He was too scared to go down the slide. I wrapped him up in my cape and helped him down the slide.
All the animals are safe and I've saved the day!

HallowMarine

I went to the Aquarium to play games and go trick-or-treating! I was Superman! There was a BIG pirate. He gave me 2 high fives! We went inside the aquarium and played some games. Here I am trying to get the frog on the lilly pad.
Here I'm trying to get the ring around the pegs.
Then, I tried to get the bag into the shark's mouth.
It was a lot of fun! I played lots of games and got lots of candy.

Fall Festival

Last night I went to my Fall Festival at my school. Everyone dressed up in their costumes. I am Superman! Here I'm trying to get spiders out of Jello. But, the teacher kept moving the bowl to make the jello wiggle and it scared me a little. Then, we went down the hall and did a cake walk. We all walked around on the numbers. When the music stopped the teacher drew a number. When she called the number 2 I looked down and I was standing on number 2. I WON! I got to pick out a cupcake.

Then, I went to play musical chairs. We were all winners and got to pick out a piece of candy. It was fun!
Later, I went to another classroom where they had 3 cups and I had to guess which cup a ball was under after the teacher moved them all around.
After the Fall Festival Daddy and I were really hungry. We went to Subway to get a sandwich. YUM!

Camping with My Dad

My Daddy and I went camping. Just us boys. We drove and drove and drove and then we found the place we were going to camp. First things first, I had to unpack. Then, Daddy and I put up the tent. It was the biggest tent! It even has a closet that I put my shoes in!
Daddy and I made a fire and sat on our chairs. I'm borrowing my mommy's chair-She didn't mind.
Then, we were getting ready to cook our hot dogs on the fire. Daddy's hot dog broke and fell into the fire! It was so silly.
This is what our campsite looked in the morning after we got all cleaned up. We had a good time. We want to go back there some other time. We may even see if Mommy wants to go.

Flash Jacob

I love Flash Gordon. He's the fastest man in the history of the world. But, I'm not a very fast runner. After seeing that the fastest boy in my class at school had Sketchers, I decided that I needed some too. I told my Grandma Lou that I needed Sketchers so I could be fast like Flash Gordon. Guess what...she sent me some in the mail!
I love my new Sketchers! I can run super fast! They also light up. They're AWESOME!
Aren't they the coolest thing in the history of the world?

Jack-O-Lanterns

Daddy and me carved pumpkins! Daddy had the biggest and I had the medium pumpkin. First, we had to decide where to cut the top off. See, I wanted a big lid.
Then, my mommy made me stick my hand in the pumpkin and pull out the seeds.
EEWWW! It was DISGUSTING!!!
This is all of my pumpkin seeds and yucky stuff in a bowl.
Daddy made a Hawkeye jack-o-lantern. I drew a face on mines with a marker and mommy cut it out. She said I did a very good job.
Here's Daddy's and mines glowing.

Grandpa Verton Had a Tree

On the way home from school my mommy and I made up a song about my Grandpa Verton.

Grandpa Verton had a tree
Guess what grew up on it.
A-P-P-L-E
A-P-P-L-E
A-P-P-L-E
An apple grew up on it.

I love eating apples, just like my Grandpa Verton!
