Goodbye Iowa!

We had such a good time in Iowa. I loved playing with all my Grandmas and Grandpas, Tammy and Sam and Michael. I will come back to see you again.

I love to Compost!

Grandpa Carl has a compost in his backyard. Tammy and I loved to take the compost out after every meal and dump it in the pile. We even made up a song to sing while we were walking.
Tammy even let me dump the stuff in there.

After we were done with the compost pile we came inside to play Chutes and Ladders. It's my favorite game. I even winned!

Aren't I So Handsome?

Today we went to a wedding. I got all dressed up. I looked like an Office Boy. This is what my daddy wears to work. Here's my daddy and I. Aren't I so handsome?

MCC Sale

I went to the MCC Sale today. There were two sheep that were there. I got to pet them. They were so soft.
Grandma Lou met us for breakfast. My pancakes had a smiley face on them--so silly!

I was so full that I couldn't walk.

Grandma Lou let me ride the train. It was so much fun. We were on there for a long time.

Mommy and I went to watch the quilt auction. Tammy and Sam helped show some of the quilts so everyone could see them.

I was tired of looking at the quilts so Mom and Dad took me to the kids area. I played lots of games. I liked to throw "food" to Bob and Larry! That was my favorite.

We had fun at the MCC Sale. We ate lots of good food. But Mom and Aunt Tammy were very sad because they went to get bread and apple butter and there wasn't any left. They were too late. I thought Tammy was going to cry!

Fun, Fish and Family!

Today we went to Great Grandpa Verton & Grandma Pearl's house for dinner. Here I'm swinging with Aunt Tammy. We go back and forth and back and forth and back and forth!
Then, Tammy carried me to Grandpa's basement to look at his surprise. I didn't have shoes on so I let her carry me.

Grandpa had a fish in his basement that he needed our help getting outside! It was so little. Sam helped catch it so we could put it in our bucket.

We had to slowly and carefully dump the fish into the fishpond so he could be with his family.

Look! There he is! He was so happy to be with his family!

I helped Grandpa feed the fish. Then, we just watched them swim all over the place.

After we fed and watched the fish Tammy and Sam had a birthday present for me. I was so excited! They got me a book about Curious George and his new bike. I just got a new bike too! It is such a silly book! Thank you Tammy and Sam. I love my new book.

I had so much fun at Grandpa Verton and Grandma Pearl's house! I hope I can go there again.

Go Michael, Go!

Tonight we went to wath my Uncle Michael play soccer. He's the goalie. Here's Michael kicking the ball after stopping a goal.
I got tired of sitting still watching the game so I got some M & M's and walked around. I'm still wearing the bike gloves from Grandma Donna! I can wear them when I'm not riding my bike because they're cool!

Michael's team won! Good job, Michael! It was fun to watch you play!

Memorial Day at the Park

Today I'm meeting my Cousin Tate at the park! First, I played a little baseball while I was waiting for Tate.
Then, after we ate we went to feed the ducks our leftover bread. See the babies--aren't they cute?

Tate and I had a good time feeding the ducks. The little ones could swim so fast!

Grandpa Denny and I walked back to the playground to swing and slide.

Grandma Lou helped me ride my new bike! I have my kneepads, elbow pads, and gloves on for safety.

My Party!

Grandma Donna and I are getting ready for my birthday Party. My Superman birthday party!
I got a cool game from Grandma Lou and Grandpa Denny!

I got a picture frame with a picture of me and Grandpa Verton at his fishpond!

Grandpa Carl and Grandma Donna gave me a bike!

I had a Superman cake with Superman coming out of it! That was so silly!

Big Helper!

I'm helping Mom do laundry so we can go to Iowa to see everyone!

Soda Geyser!

Today is a beautiful day so my Daddy and I are making a soda geyser with the toy Grandma Lou sent me. We put the top on the soda (I don't like soda-it's yucky!) and put the candy in it. Then, you pull the string and run away fast!

Mommy and Daddy and Jacob and my best buddies David and Patrick went to Rooster Days in my town. There was a parade in the morning. I liked to see all the people playing music with their instrument. My favorite was the drum.

Then, we went to the festival. I got to jump on the bouncing thing! The guy had to buckle me up for saftey.
Then, I was bounching really high. I had a lot of fun jumping so high! I tried to do a flip, and tried again and again, but I couldn't because it was too hard.

My Daddy jumped too and he was really good at doing flips. He jumped so high!

After jumping I went to the biggest slide! I went so fast!

My Daddy went on the biggest slide too. He went really fast-but he didn't hold on for saftey.

My buddy Patrick took me to ride the motocycles. We went fast!

Patrick, David and I rode in an alien's tummy! It was so silly. We went so fast around and around. After the festival we came home. I read some books in my chair. I had to wait for my mom to get done mowing.

We had a really fun day! I want to go on the bouncy thing again.
