Go Orange!

Today was my first flag football game! We got to play at the high school stadium. It was so big! We had a double-header today...that means we played TWO games! My team color is orange. It's my favorite color!
First we had to get our flags on!
I'm the player on the left getting ready to block the gray team.
Here I'm trying really hard go get the other team's flags.
In the second game I played Center. I had to listen to the quarterback say "Down, Set, Hike" and then I snapped him the ball.
After the game I practiced blocking with something the big kids use! It was fun!

I had fun playing football. I can't wait to play again next week!

Flag Football!

Tonight I had my first flag football practice!
We had to start stretching our arms....
and the rest of our body.
Then, we worked on passing the ball to our coach.
Finally we all got our flags on and the coach told us what we were going to do next.
I got a kids flag off!
We had to wait our turn.
I had to get my game face on and ready to get the ball.
I had to run really fast and reach for the other kid's flag.
Flag football is a lot of fun. But, I got all sweaty and had to take a shower when I got home.

I can snap!

Yesterday I wanted to learn how to snap. My mom and dad showed me how to do it and I practiced and practiced. Now I can do it!

Snakes, Worms & Lizards, Oh My!

Today we went hiking again. It was totally cool! We went to a new place and saw lots of cool animals and bugs. We saw these wasps...you have to be very careful!
We saw this snake that was slithering away from us.
Then, I saw this cool green worm. It was on a rock and I almost stepped on it!
After that Dad saw a cool lizard on a rock. It was getting cool in the shade.
Dad and I saw both saw something cool over there! We had to go check it out.
There were lots of cool caves and cliffs!
We found a great spot to stop and rest and have a snack. I ate a granilla bar (granola bar).
Then, it was back to the caves. There were lots of cool ones. This one even had a bridge to get across.
I'm getting to be a good climber. I had to go over this big crack very carefully.
I love hiking. I wish I could go every day.

Today is the first Hawkeye game ! I helped my dad put up our flag to get ready to watch the game!
Of course I had to get a silly picture in front of the flag.
